2021 Wild & Free White Meritage

The 2021 White Meritage is now a signature wine by Johnny Neufeld that is gaining International recognition. 

This masterful blend of 50% Semillon and 50% Sauvignon Blanc aged in 12 months in neutral French oak barrels with partial malolactic fermentation. 

Intense primary fruit aromas cantaloupe, papaya, chamomile, honeysuckle. Integrated and understated oak notes of honeyed toast, oatmeal biscuit, dried apricot, ladyfingers, panna cotta/ flan. High complexity, high intensity. High quality wine with great lengthy finish.

The weight of this beast is racy on the palate with a subtle hint of heat on the back palate and an ever-present and impressive minerality. 

Limited filtering and no fining!
